Vallakottai is a film produced by E S K Films. A Venkatesh is directing this film. Director A Venkatesh while speaking about this film, said,” Arjun is donning the role of a person who is released from prison who comes to Vallakottai in Kerala. There will be no introductory song or pinch dialogues in this film. There will be no Kuthu song before the climax.
You can see a different Arjun in this film. Haripriya is the heroine of this film. Suresh, Ashish Vidyarthi, Vincent Ashokan, O A K Sundar, Prem and Livingston are donning the role of villains. I have taken the crux for Vallakottai from a Malayalam film which had Mammooty in the lead role. I have written the screenplay and directing the film. Gopinath has written the dialogues.
Anjanayalu is handling the camera while Dhina is composing the music. There are four fighting scenes in this film. Thalapathy Dinesh is the stunt master. Normally the fighting scenes will be rehearsed at the shooting spots only. For this film the fighting scenes were rehearsed. This was shot in a video camera. After seeing the outcome, we had gone for shooting.”
